Who we are
neegotiate is a product of Toneeto, PBC, a Delaware public benefit corporation based in Mountain View, California. This policy explains what we collect on neegotiate.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions, requests, anything: hello@neegotiate.com.
The short version
We collect what we need to run an AI agent that negotiates on a seller's behalf, and nothing more. We never sell your personal information. We never share your mobile number. No one can pay for placement: there is no ranking or discovery here at all, one seller per link.
What we collect
Account. Your email address, used to send one-time sign-in codes. No passwords.
Sellers. The listing you import or type (title, price, description, photos, area), your private negotiation rules (the lowest price you'd take, timing, payment preferences, extras), your first name, and your answers to buyer questions. Your private rules are held by our software and are never shown to buyers or sent to an AI model; the model only ever receives public listing facts and a yes/no/counter verdict.
Buyers. Your email address, the conversation you have with a seller's agent, the offers you make, and, only once a deal is agreed, a first name and a phone number so the seller can arrange the handoff. The seller sees your contact details only at that point.
Text-message alerts (sellers, optional). If you switch on text alerts, your mobile number and the messages you send us in reply. See “Text messages” below.
Payments (optional). If a seller enables card payment, Stripe processes it. We never see or store card numbers, only a payment-link reference and whether it was paid.
Server logs. Our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) keeps standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and operations.
First-party acquisition measurement. When you arrive through one of our campaign links, the exact source label in that link is associated with a random, opaque visit identifier. We record coarse steps such as sign-in, listing and rules completion, link-copy or Web Share outcomes, buyer arrival, negotiation activity, and sale outcome so we can understand whether our own campaign and product worked. These records do not contain your email, phone number, IP address, listing text, offer amounts or terms, conversations, or private negotiation rules.
How we use it
To run the service: sign you in, let the agent answer buyers from listing facts, apply the seller's rules to offers, notify the seller, and show both sides the agreed terms. Conversations are reviewed by us to check that the agent never reveals a seller's private rules and never invents facts. We do not use your data for third-party advertising or to target advertising to you. We may measure our own campaigns using the first-party source and coarse event records described above.
Text messages
Sellers can choose to receive alerts by SMS: a new offer, a deal waiting for approval, or a buyer question. You opt in on your dashboard by entering your number and ticking a consent box, then confirming from your phone. Message frequency varies with buyer activity, typically 1–10 messages per week while a listing is live. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help and STOP to cancel at any time; email alerts continue. We do not share your mobile number, or your consent to receive texts, with anyone other than the carrier and messaging provider (Twilio) needed to deliver the messages.
What we never do
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share mobile numbers. No AI model is trained on your conversations. A seller's private rules never leave our software.
Sharing
Only with the providers who help us run the service, each bound to use data solely to provide their service to us: Amazon Web Services (hosting), Resend (email), OpenAI (the language model that phrases the agent's replies, receiving public listing facts and the conversation only), Twilio (text messages), and Stripe (card payments). We may disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a corporate transaction, in which case this policy continues to govern.
Retention and deletion
Conversations are kept for 90 days after a listing closes, then deleted. Private negotiation rules for a listing that is never invited are deleted 14 days after setup. Opaque acquisition mappings and coarse experiment records are kept for up to 90 days. Account and listing data are kept until you ask us to remove them. Email hello@neegotiate.com at any time to access, correct, or delete your information; we act within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including California and the European Economic Area), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Write to hello@neegotiate.com. We will never treat you differently for doing so.
Cookies
ng_session keeps you signed in and expires after 30 days. If you arrive through a campaign link, ng_src keeps that exact source label and ng_visit keeps a random visit identifier; both expire after 30 days and are used only for our first-party acquisition measurement. We do not use a third-party advertising cookie, fingerprinting, or session replay.
Children
neegotiate is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
International users
We operate from the United States. If you use neegotiate from elsewhere, your information is processed and stored in the US.
Changes
We will post updates here with a new effective date. If a change is material and we have your email, we will tell you directly.
